Switching the base PWM frequency of 8 kHz and 1 kHz.

RESET the PWM.

Start PWM 8 kHz 25% duty.

RESET PWM and restart PWM 1 kHz 75% duty.

Switching the frequency can be arbitrary and uneven.

Tested in Proteus reset_pwm.zip
