Installation Instructions

  1. Add via Add-on Modules tab of Foundry VTT setup

  2. Activate the module on a per-World basis.

    • Launch the game as GM.
    • Enable through Game Settings > Manage Modules > GM Toolkit (WFRP 4e).

Macros and Tables

  • Macro and table functionality needs to be imported from the GM Toolkit compendium, via either

    • the Toolkit Maintenance option (recommended)
    • manually from Compendiums > Macro > GM Toolkit.
    • manually from Compendiums > RollTable > GM Toolkit.

  • Any imported content will appear in

    • Tables: the RollTable sidebar
    • Macros: the Macro Directory, accessed via the Macro Hotbar. uploads/macro-directory-hotbar.png

  • Non-macro functionality (such as Advantage Automation, Group Tests and the Token Hud Extension) is automatically available once the module is enabled (though some may need to be explicitly enabled through Module Settings).

Upgrading

  • Macros that have been changed between updates will not automatically replace your existing GM Toolkit macros.
    • You will need to import updated macros from the Macro Compendium to take advantage of the improvements.
    • The Toolkit Maintenance option can handle this straightforwardly, including removing previous versions to avoid conflict and confusion.
  • Note: hotbar shortcuts may be deleted when using Toolkit Maintenance.
    • Replace these by dragging and dropping from the GM Toolkit Macro Directory to ensure they point to the latest versions.
    • If macro shortcuts are not deleted automatically, be sure you don't have older copies of macros with the same names outside of the GM Toolkit folder.

Module Settings

  • Multiple options are available to tailor how GM Toolkit supports your gameplay preferences.
  • Adjust the options with Foundry VTT through Game Settings > Configure Settings > Module Settings > GM Toolkit (WFRP 4e).
