Settings - Jagusti/fvtt-wfrp4e-gmtoolkit GitHub Wiki

Multiple options are available to tailor how GM Toolkit supports your gameplay preferences.

Configuring Module Settings

  • Adjust the options with Foundry VTT through Game Settings > Configure Settings > Module Settings > GM Toolkit (WFRP 4e).
  • Players and GMs can set the following options. They only affect that user client.
    • Enable Token Hud Extensions
  • All other options can only be set by the GM only and affect the world (so, all connecting players).

Default Settings

[NOTE: Details below are correct for v0.6.0, but need updating]

Setting Default Notes
Enable Token Hud Extension True Players and GMs can show or hide the Token Hud Extension on their own client. Enabling make tooltips for attributes and shortcuts for skill and other tests available through the Hud.
Clear Advantage for all tokens Always This option can reset Advantage for all tokens in the viewed scene, including non-combatants, at the start and/or end of combat.
Note, regardless of the option selected, tracked combatants (who appear in the Combat Tracker) always have their Advantage reset to 0 when combat ends.
This option works independently of the Advantage macros.
Pull Everyone to Scene Never Applies to the Pull Everyone to Scene macro only. Optionally activates the scene after pull.
Add XP 20 Used with the Add XP macro. This sets the default amount to add to characters when the macro is run.
Prompt for XP amount False If enabled, shows a dialog box to allow the default XP amount to be overridden when the Add XP macro is run.
Normal Vision range 2 Used with the Set Token Vision and Light macro. This is the maximum distance (yards) that a token without enhanced vision can see without an external light source in night or dim conditions.
In daylight situations, it is recommended to use the Global Illumination settings and disable Token Vision, which can be easily done using the Toggle Scene Vision and Light macro.
Dark Vision range 120 Used with the Set Token Vision and Light macro. Some creatures are able to see as if in daylight when there is no natural light. This options sets the maximum distance (yards) that a token with the Dark Vision Trait can see without an external light source in night or dim conditions. The distance set is applied to token DimSight and halved for BrightSight.
Always allow Night Vision False Used with the Set Token Vision and Light macro. Apply Night Vision settings even if token does not have the Talent or Trait. This override setting effectively allows a token to spoof having Night Vision.
