The Western lowland bongo is a large ungulate native to Africa.
Bongo are super rare spawns in deep rainforest biomes. They always spawn in groups of 1-2 animals. They have a 1:3 sex ratio and are sexually dimorphic.
The Bongo is a fast speed, defensive animal; will retaliate against players who attack them. They also react aggressively towards players in the vicinity of their offspring.
Bongo can be captured and transported with capture cages.
The Bongo can be tamed with herbivore kibble.
Bongo have 16 hearts (32 points) of health, can deal 2 hearts (4 points) of damage, and drop 1 large meat and 1 leather upon death.
The Bongo is a large animal with a sizeable hunger bar. They eat a herbivore diet, consisting of diverse fruit, vegetables and roughage.
Bongo can use can use scratching post, salt lick, sprinkler, and apple ice treat enrichment items.
The Bongo is a medium fertility species, and can be bred with jungle leaves. As large-sized animals they have a gestation period of 72000 ticks, and give birth to 1 calf that will take 6 minecraft days to reach adulthood.
