Spawning and taming

Warthog are uncommon spawns in wet savannah biomes. They always spawn in groups of 1-2 animals. They have a 1:3 sex ratio and are not sexually dimorphic.

The Warthog is a fast speed, territorial animals and are harmless if left alone. However, players who get too close to them will face the wrath of their sharp tusks.

Keepers should be sure to bring a tranquiliser gun and darts to subdue these quick, territorial weapons. Warthogs can be captured and transported with either capture nets or capture cages.

The Warthog can be tamed with omnivore kibble.

Warthog have 6 hearts (12 points) of health, can deal 1.5 hearts (3 points) of damage, and drop 2 medium meat and 2 leather upon death.

Exhibit building

(note: exhibit building sections contain a mix of gameplay information and building advice. Not all recommendations are necessary to keep animals happy, fed, and watered, but can help players build a realistic enclosure.)
