Hammerkop are an uncommon spawn in wet savanna biomes. They spawn in groups of 2-3. They have a sex ratio of 1:2.

The Hammerkop is a medium speed, neutral animal.

Hammerkop are one of the least difficult animals to capture. Once found, they can be picked up and moved with ease by the player without any tranquilizing or extra items.

The Hammerkop can be tamed with piscivore kibble.

Hammerkop have 4 hearts (8 points) of health, can deal 0.5 heart (1 points) of damage, and drop 1 small meat and 2 feathers upon death.

The Hammerkop is a small animal with modest food needs. They eat an piscivore diet, consisting of fish.

Hammerkop can use perching-block, branch, pineapple pinata and sprinkler enrichment items.
