The Emu is a large ratite native to Australia.
Emu are an uncommon spawn in dry savanna biomes & wet savanna biomes. They spawn in groups of 3-5.Males & females are equally as likely to spawn and are not sexually dimorphic.
Emu are medium speed, territorial animals and are harmless if left alone. However, players who get too close to them will become easy prey to these deadly felines.
Keepers should be sure to bring a tranquiliser gun and darts to subdue these towering, territorial animals. Emu can be captured and transported with capture cages.
The Emu can be tamed with omnivore kibble.
Emu have 14 hearts (28 points) of health, can deal 2.5 hearts (5 points) of damage, and drop 1 large meat and 2 feathers upon death.
The Emu is a large animal with a sizeable hunger bar. They eat an omnivore diet. With the exception of animal byproducts and some toxic fruits, omnivorous animals can eat almost every food in the game, including cooked meat and prepared foods.
Emu can use boomer ball, sprinkler, and apple ice treat enrichment items.
The Emu is a high fertility species, and can be bred with brown rat. As large-sized animals they have a gestation period of 72000 ticks, and lay 1-5 eggs. Their chicks will take 6 minecraft days to reach adulthood.
(note: exhibit building sections contain a mix of gameplay information and building advice. Not all recommendations are necessary to keep animals happy, fed, and watered, but can help players build a realistic enclosure.)
Emu have 4 natural variants: Rockwall, Bruny, Rottnest and Howe. Beddara, an albino variant, is breed-only and does not spawn naturally.
