Symptoms

  • Shooter consistently and unexpectedly under or overshoots the target

Diagnosis

  • If shooter was never consistently accurate see solution 1

  • If shooter suddenly became inaccurate see solutions 2 and 3

Solutions

Solution 1: Recalibrate the shooter.

Solution 2: Recalibrate vision

  • It is possible that there are differences between our vision setup at homestead and at competitions/travel events.

  • This could lead to inaccuracy when vision is used for distance guaging during scoring

  • See Calibrate Vision

  • Always double check vision upon arrival at a comp

Solution 3: Clean the shooter

  • Residue on the flywheel and the rest of the shooter can have a significant impact on performace

  • Clean the shooter, especially the flywheel
