This page describes the use of the File Analyzer.

Troubleshooting - Directing error output to a File

If you launch the FileAnalyzer from a console window, error messages may appear in the console.

If you launch the FileAnalyzer from a Windows Explorer or Finder, a console may not be present. You can redirect console output to a file by selecting "File Analyzer -> Log Errors to a file". Output will be directed to your temp dir/FileAnalyzer.log. On MacOS, you may need to open a terminal session to access this temp file.

Batch operations

These operations were utilized in an earlier instance of the File Analyzer and have not been exercised in some time. Some refactoring may be needed to fully utilize these features.

• Launch multiple tasks from the User Interface to perform Batch Processing
• The File Analyzer can also be invoked from a Command Line Interface
