Worms Armageddon is a 2D artillery strategy game where players and computer characters group up in teams to destroy the opposing team. Players move by positioning their worm with the horizontal D-pad keys and aim by pressing the vertical D-pad keys. A crosshair will move while the player aims. When the player has the enemy in their line of fire, he/she holds down a button to attack. The length at which the player holds down this button directly correlates to the magnitude of the force propelling the projectile.

This action of firing the weapon itself seems very applicable to the jumping movement scheme of Dr. Eric. If the player holds the jump button for a short amount of time, then Dr. Eric will make a very short jump. If the player holds the jump button for a long amount of time, then Dr. Eric will make a very long jump.

Google's Deep Dream, a research endeavor to visualize neural nets, uses concepts from machine-learning and computer vision to make some spectacularly trippy images. I'll leave the curious technical reader to go through the reference links above. Google has made their code open source to let anyone use their masterpiece. We could use this API to make spectacular moving or still background images.
