Conquest game general info - Fish-In-A-Suit/Conquest GitHub Wiki
What is the game about?
Conquest takes place on a map of the same size and shape to the planet Earth. The initial spawn location of the first-time-login players are equatorial regions of the world (Central America, Africa, central Asia). The farther north a player ventures, the harsher the conditions become (colder climate, less crops, higher tier hostile NPCs), but should the player survive, rewards in the form of invaluable items await.
The main goal of Conquest is, as its name implies, creating, building and conquering kingdoms. As inter-player cooperation, as player-NPC interaction is forced by the game. To achieve the full potential, one can't go without learning from native tribesmen. They will usually be more skilled than the players, so wiping them out should be no easy task.
Exploration is another key aspect of the game. Whether on foot or by horse/ship, the player's inner adventurer will be catered for by various picturesque landmarks, romantic sun-sets and vast cave-systems.

What makes my game different?
There are various different games which are open-world and MMO (such as Runescape, World of Warcraft), but none of them provide sufficient player-world interaction (such as Minecraft, where the player can modify the virtual world to his liking at any different time). Conquest presents the lingua franca between these two games.
This game is played on a persistent virtual world by thousands of players, each of them with the ability to modify (terraform, build, destroy) the world to their liking. Every building constructed/destroyef, every kingdom created/brought to it's knees leaves its own specific mark on the world. Every player is able to contribute his/her page to the book of the entire game. As opposed to games with pre-written storyline, the storyline of Conquest will be created dynamically by the players.
The actions of the players impacts and influences the world and gameplay. For example, if one decides to blow up a part of the continent, so be it. Other players would then have to adapt to this change in environmemt (for example, deciding to travel around that blown up piece of land rather than through it so as to speed up travelling).
