Kruise Kontrol

Kruise Kontrol (spelled with two Ks) is a mod originally by Factorio developer Klonan, forked and integrated into Factorio Access as a dependency. It lets your character act autonomously — walking somewhere, collecting resources, building from ghosts, fighting enemies — based on what the cursor is targeting when you activate it.
The key to understanding Kruise Kontrol is that the action is determined by the target, not a mode you select. Point the cursor at empty ground and activate, and your character walks there. Point it at a ghost and activate, and your character builds. The same key covers all these cases.
Activate: CTRL + ALT + RIGHT BRACKET

Actions
What happens depends on what the cursor is pointing at:
- Empty tile — your character walks or drives to that location
- Resource, rock, or tree — your character walks there and mines everything of that type in the area
- Building ghost — your character walks there and builds all ghosts in the area, crafting items as needed and gathering materials from nearby belts if required
- Building marked for deconstruction or upgrade — your character mines all marked entities in the area, or performs the upgrades
- Entity that takes fuel — your character refuels it
- Enemy unit or structure — your character engages using equipped weapons
Kruise Kontrol continues until there is nothing left to act on nearby — all the ghosts are built, the enemies defeated, or the ore exhausted — or until you press ENTER to cancel.
While working, Kruise Kontrol periodically reports its current status so you have context about what your character is doing.
Walking and Obstacles
While walking to a target, Kruise Kontrol clears obstacles automatically. Trees, rocks, and similar mineable things in the path are removed as your character moves through them. Walls without gates are mined to pass through, then replaced afterward.
Queuing
Activating Kruise Kontrol on a second target while it is still working queues the new action — your character finishes the first task, then moves to the second. For simpler behavior, cancel the current action with ENTER before triggering a new one.
Vehicles
Kruise Kontrol works in vehicles and can drive to a destination. Note that Kruise Kontrol cannot be triggered while a blueprint or blueprint book is held in your hand; deconstruction planners are not affected.
Factorio Access Modifications
The version integrated into Factorio Access includes bug fixes by EliteHunter and interface modifications by AHicks that allow the mod to integrate smoothly with the accessibility framework.
