Keep in mind not all mrl3 allow partial or even binary transparency and that this is only one way to get transparency, some models achieve this through different means.
**1.**Open your tex normally, if it has alpha remember to tick "import alpha as a layer".

**2.**Create a new layer and apply alpha regions there (black is transparent white is solid gradients are transluscency)

**3.**In the channels page if you don't already have an alpha channel, duplicate one of the colour channels and name the duplicate Alpha 1

**4.**Copy the contents of your alpha layer in Layers into the Alpha Channel in Channels

**5.**Delete the alpha layer in layers

**6.**Save using the following settings using the Intel Plugin.
