[Bug Fixed] Working Around the Mip Map Loading Bug - Ezekial711/MonsterHunterWorldModding GitHub Wiki

Note: This bug was fixed after only 6 months in April 2019 (Build 167353). You therefore don't need to use this workaround anymore.

Some of you might be aware of the mip map loading bug that has plagued the game since launch and has not been properly fixed whatsoever as of writing this. It causes the game to display textures at a considerably lower quality than the data exists, see this screenshot for comparison.

This issue also extends to your custom textures. Here is a quick and easy workaround:

1. Download WorldMipNuke

2. Create and convert your texture(s) as per this Wiki

3. Drag and drop your texture (or a folder containing multiple) on the WorldMipNuke executable

Note: The texture(s) will be overwritten during this.
