View Calculated Phytosociological Parameters by Species |
Actors |
User |
Stakeholders and interests |
Forest Inventory Analyst: Needs detailed per-species parameters for in-depth ecological analysis and technical reporting. |
Pre-conditions |
The user is in a Phytosociological Analysis with specimen data entered. Phytosociological calculations have been processed by the system. |
Minimum guarantees |
System correctly applies standard formulas for all calculations. |
Success guarantees |
A comprehensive table of calculated phytosociological parameters per species is displayed, with sorting and customization options. |
Main Success Scenario
User Action |
System Response |
1. This use case begins when the user accesses the "Phytosociological Parameters" section (or "General" tab) within the Phytosociological Analysis. |
2. The system automatically calculates all required phytosociological parameters based on the specimen data for the analysis. Data generated and displayed per species includes: SPECIES, FAMILY, DENSITY, RELATIVE DENSITY (%), DOMINANCE, RELATIVE DOMINANCE (%), FREQUENCY, RELATIVE FREQUENCY (%), IMPORTANCE VALUE (VI), COVER VALUE (VC), ABSOLUTE IVI, INDIVIDUAL VOLUME, TOTAL VOLUME PER SPECIES, Average DBH per species, and Average Height per species. |
|
3. The system displays these parameters in an interactive table or relevant graphs. |
4. The user can sort the table by any column and customize which columns are displayed. |
5. The system updates the table display according to user preferences. |
Special Requirements
- Displayed Parameters: Table must include Density, Dominance, Frequency (absolute & relative), VI, VC, IVI, Individual/Total Volume, average DBH/Height per species.
- Table Features: Sorting by column and column customization are required.
- Calculation Basis: Calculations must adhere to standard phytosociological formulas.
