The simplest method for copying files from a Linux computer to Windows, and from Windows to Linux, is to use FileZilla, a free FTP software available here: https://filezilla-project.org/

After installing the program you should be greeted with the following window:

Now, simply enter the information for the remote computer; let's use the spare RED board as an example:

Once the information is entered, click on Quickconnect, and accept the connection prompt if it's the first time connecting. Once connected, all files on the remote computer should be visible on the right panel. You can now simply drag and drop folders and files from either machine.
