Solar Panels

The solar panel bracket was designed to be modular such that it can be mounted on any platform. One side of the bracket features a square cut-out design that overlays the control panel on a platform so as to prevent interference.

The solar panels, themselves, can be exchanged with a different set, if required in the future. The current set of solar panels in the lab are the Amdohai 20W Solar Panel Monocrystalline Silicon Solar Cell with Dual USB. The specifications of these solar panels as provided by the supplier are as given below. A single solar panel, when mounted onto a platform, extends about 45 cm outwards and is about 1 cm in depth.
