Experiment Booking Logistics - Carleton-SRCL/SPOT GitHub Wiki
The logistics of booking laboratory time is very simple and requires two steps:
-
Check the Status of the Laboratory
To check the status of the lab at the given moment, refer to the Current Laboratory Status page. This will serve to notify you of any currently known problems (e.g., plumbing leaks, drained batteries, etc.), scheduled repairs (e.g., software upgrades, hardware replacement, compressor maintenance, etc.), or offer quick fixes for proper experimentation (e.g., replacing your local StreamData.exe file).
-
Book a timeslot in the "Spacecraft Proximity Operations Testbed" Google Calendar
If the laboratory is in a state that you can experiment with, then book off a timeslot in the "Spacecraft Proximity Operations Testbed" Google Calendar. Note, the first time you book a timeslot you will need to contact Prof Steve Ulrich to be granted permissions to edit this calendar.
Next Step
The next step, once you get into the lab, is set-up the laboratory and perform an experiment.
