CTAT Tutorials
To build HTML tutors with CTAT you need the installed authoring tools and an HTML editor. If you are using the CTAT HTML editor to build tutor interface, you will also need access to cloud storage on either Google Drive or Dropbox. See the Quick Start page for important information on installing CTAT, setting up, and a quick tutorial.
Once you are set up, you can work through the following tutorials:
- Creating an HTML Tutor Interface for a simple math problem using the CTAT HTML Editor; there is also a step-by-step animated tutorial
- Recording Problem‐Solving Behavior for a simple math problem; here again, there is also a step-by-step animated tutorial
- Creating a Quiz
- Creating a Cognitive Tutor for fraction addition
If you prefer not to use the CTAT HTML editor, see Creating an HTML Tutor Manually for instructions on editing .html files directly to create a tutor interface.
