Because the scope of the game changed the core gameplay-loop is now a lot simpler then planned. The Player gets a challenge, mostly in the form of enemies and obstacles, does a action an gets rewardes in the form of progressiopn, diffent rewards like upgrades to becom,e stronger have been cut.
