Stimulus marks belonging to the same condition can be further differentiated using the User Data Table. Any type of numerical information can be recorded in this data table and associated with each stimulus mark. This is particularly useful for recording any behavioral data associated with each individual stimulus. These data can be utilized in the processing stream to decide which stimuli trials are included in the estimation of the HRF and which stimuli trials are excluded.

The table has a row of edit windows for each stimulus mark includes, and each row consists of three columns as shown below. The first column is the time point (second) of the stimulus mark. The second column is the duration of the stimulus. The third column gives the stimulus mark value. The value 1 denotes the mark is toggled on and will be used to calculate HRF. The value -1 denotes the mark will be excluded from the HRF calculation.




You can change the time point and values to edit a stimulus mark. For example, if you wish to exclude the first mark of condition 1, change the value in the third column from 1 to -1, then the mark will be dashed. The trial will be excluded from the HRF calculation if you save the change to SNIRF file by clicking the 'Save to file' button.
