Custom Generators - AstralOrdana/Immersive-Weathering GitHub Wiki
Immersive Weathering adds additional stone generators to the game, similar in function and use to the cobblestone, stone, and basalt generators in vanilla Minecraft. The new stone generators can be configured and additional ones added using datapacks.
Cobblestone Type Generators
Stone generators shown here that are based on the vanilla cobblestone generator will also work using waterlogged stairs for more compact builds.
A typical vanilla Cobblestone generator, shown from above
Diorite
Water contacting flowing Lava adjacent to Smooth Quartz
A Diorite generator, showing a modified Cobblestone generator with an adjacent Smooth Quartz block added
Granite
Water contacting flowing Lava adjacent to Smooth Quartz and Diorite
A Granite generator, showing a modified Cobblestone generator with adjacent Smooth Quartz and Diorite blocks added
Crying Obsidian
Water flowing onto Lava source blocks with adjacent Soul Fire
Note that this does consume the Lava Source Block and that Soul Campfires will not work; it must be Soul Fire burning on top of Soul Sand or Soul Soul
A Crying Obsidian generator, showing a modified Cobblestone generator with Soul Fire burning on Soul Sand and Crying Obsidian where the Lava Source Block was placed
Basalt Type Generators
A vanilla Basalt generator shown from the diagonal, with Lava flowing into a space adjacent to Blue Ice and above Soul Soil
Tuff
Water contacting flowing Lava adjacent to Blue Ice and Ash layers or Ash Blocks
Note that because Ash falls, it needs to be supported by a block underneath
A Tuff generator, showing a modified Basalt generator with adjacent Ash blocks added and no Soul Soil required
Blackstone
Flowing Lava flowing into a space with adjacent Magma Block & Blue Ice
A Blackstone generator, showing a modified Cobblestone generator with adjacent Blue Ice and Magma Block added and no Soul Soil required
Calcite
Flowing Lava with adjacent Magma Block & Blue Ice and a Bone Block below
Note that the bone block must be oriented so that the circular pattern is facing up, else this will generate Blackstone
A Calcite generator, showing a modified Cobblestone generator with a Bone Block below and adjacent Magma Block and Blue Ice added and no Soul Soil required
Other Types
Smooth Basalt
Water contacting flowing Lava adjacent to Blue Ice with Soul Soil below
A Smooth Basalt generator, showing a modified combination of Cobblestone + Basalt generators with flowing Water and Lava with Soul Soil below and Blue Ice to the side
Magma Block
Lava with an upwards bubble column (Soul Sand with a Water Source Block above) beneath it
Note that if the Lava is allowed to flow downwards into the bubble column (by including a space of air between them) the Lava Source Block will not be consumed, however placing Lava using a Lava Bucket directly above an upwards bubble column will convert the Lava Source Block into a Magma Block)
A Magma Block generator with a Soul Sand block on the bottom, a Water Source Block above that, a gap for Magma Blocks to form, and then a Lava Source Block on top
Terracotta
Lava source blocks or flowing Lava contacting Clay blocks
A Lava Source Block flowing into an adjacent block, showing two converted Clay blocks which have become Teracotta
Vitrified Sand
Lava source blocks or flowing Lava contacting Sand
A Lava Source Block flowing into an adjacent block, showing two converted Sand blocks which have become Vitrified Sand
Block Cracking
Blocks with a cracked state can also crack over time when placed next to Lava or Fire
