Background
Melursi was taken from his father and mother just as he was beginning his apprenticeship to become a whitesmith. His Parens, Beacha ex Miscellanea, lured him into the woods using a cloud of bees and hypnotic buzzing sound. Becha was a distant master and treated his apprentice like a prisoner and a servant, often passing down orders through his bee minions and rarely allowing him to leave their quarters. Melursi ran away several times in his first few years as an apprentice but every time he was dragged back to Cantus Arborum by grogs.
After a few years of being magically ordered around by bees Malursi learned to actually talk to and command them. It was at that point that his master finally allowed him more contact with the rest of the covenant and allowed him to assist in the lab more and instructed him on the history of their small sib-tradition, Coimeádaí Beacha.
The Coimeádaí Beacha were a druidic sub-cult that had been quickly been swallowed up by the followers of Diedne and then subsequently followed thim into oblivion during the Schism. Their studies revolved around the role of bees as messengers from the pagan celtic gods to the mortal world. But the exact details of their priesthood are lost to history.
