Glow mushroom stew is a food item that gives the player glowing or any mob when interacted with for a short period of time.

Glow mushroom stew can be obtained when right clicked with a glow mooshroom while holding an empty bowl. The bowl gets filled with the so called glow mushroom stew.

If a player right clicks on glow mooshroom while holding multiple bowls, only one bowl at a time will be filled. The newly filled bowl will be put in an available inventory slot. If there is no inventory slot available the item will be dropped on the ground.

A glow mooshroom can be fed any flower which will change the colour of the glowing effect.

To eat glow mushroom stew, press and hold use while it is selected in the hotbar. Eating one restores 6 ( ) hunger and 7.2 saturation and gives the glowing effect for 60 seconds. Giving the glow mushroom stew to another mob will only give it the glowing effect, not the additional food or health.

The bowl is returned to the player empty after the glow mushroom stew has been eaten, and can be reused to craft more, similarly to mushroom stew, rabbit stew and beetroot stew.

If the glow mooshroom was fed flowers, that color will be applied to the glowing effect. When fed multiple flowers, the out come of the colors will be mixed too. The duration of the glowing effect does not stack when eating multiple stews.

Glow mushrom stew is the only way to obtain the Glowing effect without taking damage. It's also the only way to make other entities glow without damaging them.
