Color Palette: Ritual Chambers

Overview

  • Purpose: Color palette for the third level, located above the mines. The final level, this place should feel exciting. Science experiments and occult evidence suggest tinkering in matters that should not be, such as changing and harnessing eldritch horrors. A mix of laboratory equipment and ritualistic devices and artifacts shows this dual inhabitance. There is likely to also be a final event room with an extremely large summoning circle, where we will have a final enemy rush, with potentially a boss enemy. Utilizing precious metals mined from the caves below, rituals and experimentation are preformed on this floor. Unlike most of the other architecture before this, these halls have clean, cut stones to help in rituals, and incorporate maze like designs in the floor plan for channeling precise flow of magic through the medium of the walls. Rooms are sometimes solely dedicated to large magical circles for incantations, others for laboratory equipment for vials and alchemical materials, experimentation on metal, crystal, and even live subjects, monster and human alike. The glow of magical light illuminates the spaces in haunting scarlet tones.
