Description
The second level, located higher than the prisons. An expanse of winding mine tunnels and caves, dug out by interred prisoners, that seep into wild, sometimes overgrown natural caves. Entrances nearest to the main prison maintain semblance of its architecture, but the farther out, the more the regular caves peak through, with vines and roots weaving through into underground lakes. In the caverns, there are few hints of man presence. A camp fire or two shows potential previous inhabitance, but it's sparse. Roots and other natural occurrences, such as small pools of water, and a single large root network show that this is the area underneath many trees and other natural formations. The player should feel more at ease here, though it is still dark, making it hard to see when not around a light source. Glowing berries or underground water light the area.
