Nature has taken over these vessels, after the human hosts in life seemed to worship the trees throughout this underground location as some sort of super-natural force. These worshipers gave their bodies over to the plants that now inhabit their forms, controlling their every movement. Step on anything that these new Dryads control, and there presence will be alerted, not taking kindly to trespassers. Their magic seems to also be able to leap from their hands in a sort of magic blast, so closing distance with these thin and lithe creatures seems to be the best option for dealing with them now.
