How to Stretch PowerPoint over any number of screens
This guide walks you through using our Multi-Screen Presenter PowerPoint plugin to stretch your PowerPoint presentation across the number of screens you need.
Launching PowerPoint content across multiple screens
- In PowerPoint with your presentation open, go to “Slide Show”
- In the "Monitors" section make sure Monitor is set to "Primary" and the "Use Presenter View" box is unchecked
- From the dropdown menu in the "Multi-Screen Presenter" section, select how many screens you would like to display your content across. This will depend on your presentation design.
- If your presentation is designed for fewer than seven screens, you can still choose "7" and your presentation will be automatically centered and unused screens will remain black.
- Press either the "From Beginning" or "From Current Slide" button to launch your presentation
Creating a custom PowerPoint slide for 7 screens
- Before starting from scratch, we recommend you use our custom PowerPoint theme built for our screens: Download PowerPoint Templates
- To create on from scratch:
- Go to the “Design” Tab > Click “Slide Size” > “Custom Slide Size” > Set Width to 56 inches and Height to 4.5 inches !!!
- This will resize the presentation slides into one long skinny slide that can be stretched across all 7 screens
- You can insert lines 8 inches apart as guide to where the screens are or create a table with one row and seven columns stretched across this entire slide
- Use this slide as a template for your presentation
