The Hybris suite has some problems which shall be addressed by this plugin:

• Hybris has to be built at the target system

• The whole suite has to be compiled if an extension has been updated

• The Suite is developed for the Eclipse IDE

• Hybris is using ANT build system

Following goals should be achieved by the Hybris Maven Plugin for solving the problems mentioned above:

• The plugin should package every extension into an own archive file.

• It should restructure the Hybris suite in that way that it can be imported, compiled and run with Maven.

• Hybris code generator for generating the database model is successfully called

• restructuring the Hybris suite into Maven extensions works

• web extensions are packaged into WAR files

• trying to run extension "hac-web" with Tomcat7 Maven plugin out of the extensions target folder throws Exceptions

• runing "hac-web" with Tomcat7 Maven plugin out of the generated hybris fake structure leads the web extension to start, but it then freezes without throwing any error messages

• making "hac-web" to start successfully when called with Tomcat7 Maven plugin

• introduce more unit tests for improving code coverage
