As your clean electricity provider, we continue to offer our customers bill savings compared to PG&E generation service. In 2023, the average CleanPowerSF residential customer saved $60.80 on their electricity bill!

We understand that energy bills are high. This winter and all year-round, there are programs that can help you lower or pay off bills. See if the following programs might work for you:

• The California Alternate Rates for Energy (CARE) Program offers a monthly 20% or more discount on electricity and gas to qualifying customers.
• The Family Electric Rate Assistance (FERA) program is an 18% discount on electricity for households that qualify and have 3 or more people.
• The Relief for Energy Assistance Through Community Help (REACH) Program can help you with overdue bills.
• The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) may be able to apply a one-time bill credit per year to help with energy bills and to prevent utility shutoffs. To find out if you qualify and enroll in LIHEAP, call Peninsula Energy Services at (415) 416-6660 or apply online.

As we kick off the new year, we say goodbye to a busy 2023 for CleanPowerSF. Here are some of our highlights from the past year:

• CleanPowerSF continued to provide clean and renewable power to our customers and was recognized as an outstanding green energy program on the National Renewable Energy Lab’s annual Top 10 list.
• We brought a SuperGreen, life-size apartment to several San Francisco neighborhoods, encouraging residents to SuperGreen their apartments and homes with 100% renewable energy. You too can go SuperGreen!
• We attended 38 community events and hosted a presentation for Lincoln High School’s Green Academy followed by a tour of Sunset Reservoir solar array.
