If you require power in your home for medical needs, you may qualify for extra assistance through the Medical Baseline Program.

Program Benefits

Customers in the Medical Baseline Program receive additional notifications by call, text, email or in person before power is turned off for safety. To help prevent a wildfire, we may need to turn power off to keep you safe.

Do I qualify?

Eligibility for the Medical Baseline Program is based on medical conditions or needs - not on income. To qualify, a full-time resident in your home must:

  • Have a qualifying medical condition and/or
  • Require use of a qualifying medical device to treat an ongoing medical condition

How do I apply?

Apply online or mail in a printed application. The second part of the form must be completed and signed by a qualified medical practitioner. Call to request a large print or Braille application form.
