Property Modifiers

Skill modifiers reference modifiable parameters (properties).

The property ID is calculated as propertyType + modType << 8 - see cPropertyModifierManagerPC::GetValue function (AI.dll).

For modType values, see property modifier types.

Data types

The value of methodValue is converted to the target data type of the property. See cPropertyModifierManagerPC::DecodeValue for conversion details (AI.dll).

Float conversion is performed using atof.

Hex integer values are allowed in 0x00000000 format, converted with strtoul. Regular integer values are converted with atoi.

Bool conversion is methodValue[0] != '0'.

Recoil

First, the shot delay is converted into RPS (rounds per seconds):

RPS = \frac{1}{fireRate}

Calculate recoil ranges for both axes:

minX = | baseMinX \times multMinX \times ironsightX \times bonusMult \times coverSitMod |
maxX = | baseMaxX \times multMaxX \times ironsightX \times bonusMult \times coverSitMod |
minY = | baseMinY \times multMinY \times ironsightY \times bonusMult \times coverSitMod |
maxY = | baseMaxY \times multMaxY \times ironsightY \times bonusMult \times coverSitMod |

The recoil is given for when sitting behind a cover, hence the static modifier's use.

Finally:

recoil = round(RPS \times (minX + maxX + minY + maxY))

Only base and ironsight modifiers need to be set, the other are 1.0 by default.

Fire rate

RPM = \frac{60}{fireRate}

WCPT_FireMode_* modifiers should be set on a list associated with the fire mode component(s).

WCPT_FireMode_AutoRateOfFire_F takes precedence over WCPT_FireMode_BurstCycleDelay_F.
