ZTW Extruder Assembly

STEP Y-01

STEP Y-01: Slide crimp bearing into the bearing slot in the crimp door

STEP Y-02

STEP Y-02: Align bearing with bearing pin holes, and insert bearing pin

STEP Y-03

STEP Y-03: Press the pin through the bearing till flush with the door

STEP Y-04

STEP Y-04: Slide crimp gear onto motor shaft, aligning set screw with flat on the shaft

STEP Y-05

STEP Y-05: Tighten set screw

STEP Y-06

STEP Y-06: Using 2, M3 screws, mount extruder body to the stepper motor

STEP Y-07

STEP Y-07: Insert crimp door into slot on main body. Fasten with 3rd M3 Screw. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN...!!

STEP Y-08: Insert a M4 dowel nut into the special hole in main body

STEP Y-09

STEP Y-09: Slide Thumb screw spring onto the thumb screw

STEP Y-10

STEP Y-10: Align dowel nut with the thumb screw

STEP Y-11

STEP Y-11: Inset last two dowel nuts onto the special holes in main body, and align for M4 mounting screws

STEP Y-12: Using the M4 screws, mount the completed assembly to the mounting back plate

STEP Y-13: Completed Assembly

STEP Y-14: Wiring Harness attached to stepper motor

STEP Y-15

STEP Y-15: To load filament,remove Crimp Door Thumb Screw and swing door open

STEP Y-16

STEP Y-16: Insert filament though top hole. Pass between Crimp Gear and Crimp Gear Bearing, And then out through bottom hole

STEP Y-17

STEP Y-17: Close door and replace the Thumb Screw. Tighten by hand till it bottoms out
