Lab Questions:

• How do you create a VLAN on a switch?

After going to Config/VLAN (on the switch) , one can add VLANS by giving them a number and a name.

• How do you configure an access port on a switch?

By going to config tab, one can change the VLAN number to suit the network.

• How do you configure a trunk port on a switch?

Going into the settings in the gigabitethernet connections, one can select which VLANS will go through the port.
