This was a hugely user-requested feature.
It's a way to carry around multiple potions without the inventory clutter they cause, and a quick way to consume your favourite ones.

Usage

Shift-right click the bag to open its interface.
The interface is divided in two sections, a top slot for selecting a potion, and a storage area. Click with a potion on the top slot to select your preference, it won't be placed there, a phantom item will be shown instead. Load whatever drinkable potions you want in the storage area.

When you close the interface, hold-right clicking the bag will try and consume any selected potion from the inside, if they are present. The time it takes to use the bag is a little shorter than it would normally take to drink it as a potion. If no potion of the selected type are present, nothing will happen on right click. A tooltip will tell you how many potions are left inside
