Every setting is on the site's own settings page, in the AtmoMod tab: /settings/<any tab>#atmomod. On the tab, changes save as you make them. The button to get there easily a little modulator waveform when collapsed, or the script short name when expaned:

The Grease/Tampermonkey menu command Atmospheric Modulator Settings opens the same sections in a dialog, from any page. Changes there save as you make them too; Close closes it.

The Chooms section lists everyone you have starred, colored or written a note about. It shows while Nick Colors, Nick Effects or Nick Notes is on.

Each row has:

• Two star buttons, one star for friends, two stars for your best choomies.
• Nickname Right-click or long-press it for their user menu which allows you to make edits like you would anywhere else you see their nickname on the site.
• Their note, while Nick Notes is on, with buttons to edit or delete it.
