User Management - younginnovations/aidstream-tz GitHub Wiki

There are two types of accounts available on AidStream Tanzania. They are:

  1. Admin Account
  2. User Account

1. Admin Account

An Admin account has full access to all permission levels. This means that a user with an Admin account can add new users to the organisation, assign and edit the permission settings on those user accounts.

2. User Account

New users can only be created by a user with an Admin account. New users can only access the application according to the permissions granted to them by an Admin user. Please note the Settings page is not available to users with non-Admin accounts.

When an organisation initially registers with AidStream, the person who sets up the account will be made an Admin user by default. To set up an AidStream account, follow our guide which you can find here.

Creating User Accounts

To add new users to an organisation's AidStream account, the organisation's Admin User should go to the User List page by clicking on 'Users' in the Main Menu to the left. Once on the User List page, click the Add a User button to create a new user account for your organisation.

User List Page

Clicking on the 'Add a User' button will direct you to a form where you can add information about the new user. Once you have entered all of the information on a new user, click the 'Sign Up' button to create the user account, or click Cancel to return to the User List page.

Create User Form

Once the new user has been created, you will be redirected to the User List page with a 'success' message. After the creation of the first non-admin user, the 'Add a User' button will move to the top right corner (see below). To view the account details for any user, click on the View icon and to delete a user, click the Delete icon (see below).
