Using SM2's Telnet Server - ymatto/Station-Manager-2 GitHub Wiki
Station Manager uses Liquidsoap's built-in telnet server capability, with paramters configured in your station config, as described above.
To connect, telnet to your server (typically localhost
) using the port you've configured (or the default of 1234
). Type help
to see the commands that can be sent. Liquidsoap automatically offers a number of built-in commands, in particular for the various internally-used "sources".
Station Manager, however, adds its own set of special commands that expose manual DJ control functions for the running station, such as skipping tracks or telling your DJ to say things on-air using your configured TTS.
You can run DJ commands in two ways:
dj.now
takes a command argument and executes it immediately, or with a delay in secondsdj.trackend
takes a command argument and executes it at the end of the currently-playing track
Type help dj.now
or help dj.trackend
for full syntax and list of currently available commands.
