Team Management

General Team Update

1. Weekly tasks meeting:

Monday 10:30AM-12:00AM. (Person in charge/Organizer: Yunlei Shi)

  • Step 1: Weekly meeting for quick update the current tasks, 30 mins(10:30 AM-11:00 AM):
    • Teamlead update weekly news in 5 min
    • We use PLANNER to follow/update the tasks, Please find the link here:([link]), for task assignment, need to use template: template
  • Step 2: Group detail meetings, 60 mins(11:00 AM-12:00 AM):
    • After the meeting, we meet in groups where we define the details of each task. The team leader is on hold and we can contact him if needed.
    • The details of the tasks need to be written down in the planning system on SharePoint.
    • The tasks should be created before the meeting and put into the backlog.

2. Retrospective Meeting:

Whole team every 2 weeks on Friday (Person in charge/Organizer: Jakub Hulas, Assistor: Yunlei Shi)

  • Focus on sharing knowledge and achievements, it could be a live demo, video, or presentation.
  • A member volunteers to do the demo. The goal is to make other team members aware of the general progress of the team.
  • The contents of the demo will be then saved in the wiki Retrospective Archive for future reference. Please add your presentation information here and add the files to this folder

3. One On One talk:

(Person in charge/Organizer:Yunlei Shi), the cycle is not fixed, but everyone is guaranteed chances.

  • Discover employee goals and challenges
  • Understand employee and team morale
  • Identify opportunities to develop and train employees
  • Provide and receive valuable feedback
  • Create actionable roadmaps for improvement
  • Share information about the organization and offer needed context for decisions
  • Coach and mentor employees
