Echo Axe - yeoshan/Echocraft GitHub Wiki

An Echo Axe is a late-game variant of Axes obtained by upgrading a Netherite Axe using an Echo Shard and an Echo Upgrade at an Echo table. It is the highest tier of Axe, dealing more damage than a Netherite Axe and having higher durability. It can be used to strip logs and scrape copper-based blocks, and as a melee weapon that disables shields.

Upgrading

Like other Netherite tools, a Netherite Axe can be upgraded to an Echo Axe, increasing its durability and attack damage, as well as granting resistance to fire and lava when dropped as an item.

Usage

Breaking

Echo axes can break wood-related blocks faster than other tools. All Axe enchantments can be used on the Echo Axe.

Using an Echo Axe on a log, wood block, or block of bamboo turns it into a stripped log, stripped wood, or block of stripped bamboo, respectively.

Using an Echo Axe on a waxed or oxidized copper block removes the wax if it has any, or otherwise removes a level of oxidation.

Like other Echo Tools, the Echo Axe doesn't lose durability when breaking blocks, but it does when dealing damage to entities.

Attacking

The Echo Axe deals 8 attack damage to entities. Like other axes, it can temporarily disable shields.

When hitting an entity with an Echo Axe, the target will get 15 seconds of weakness.

Repairing

An Echo Axe can be repaired in an anvil by adding Broken souls, with each soul restoring 10% of the durability.
