Fasting

The Fasting enchantment is an enchantment applicable to chestplates. When applied and worn in the chest slot, this enchantment reduces the rate at which a player's exhaustion increases by 10% per level. Thus, at the highest expected level (level 3) the player will only receive 70% of the exhaustion they would normally from actions they perform. This effect stacks with Iron Stomach. That is, with Fasting III and Iron Stomach II (From an enchanted Iron Apple), the player will only receive 42% of the exhaustion they would receive normally.

Fasting and Gluttony are mutually exclusive. No chestplate can have both enchantments applied at once. If a chestplate is cheated to have both enchantments, they both work as expected. If a chestplate is cheated to have a Fasting level of 10 or higher, the player receives no exhaustion.
