The Exhausting Potato is a craftable food item added by Scaling Feast. When eaten, it decreases the player's hunger. Though it provides a situational benefit, it can also be used to brew Awkward Potions without having to get Nether Wart.

When eaten, Exhausting Potatoes lower the player's hunger by 4 (). The player's saturation will be reduced if it exceeds the player's hunger or Scaling Feast's Saturation Cap.

Brewing

One of the useful upsides of Exhausting Potatoes is their ability to be brewed into Awkward Potions. Since most of Scaling Feast's potions are brewed using a Thick Potion as a base, there is no worry about a stack of Exhausting Potatoes brewing any freshly brewed Awkward Potions into anything else.

Trivia

The Exhausting Potato was mainly designed as a counterpart to the Golden Carrot, but instead of being the best food item in terms of saturation restored per food point, the Exhausting Potato is by far the worst food item, since it reduces hunger instead of restoring it. It does however, have useful brewing recipes, similar to the Golden Carrot.
