General Injury: Lost Hit Points
- 1/3 HP: ceil(BasSpeed/2) and ceil(Move/2)
- 0 or lower: roll HT each turn to stay conscious
- See recovering from Unsconsciousness p423
- for every negative multiple of HP, make HT roll to avoid death. If fail by 1 or 2 read Mortal Wounds.
- Die automatically at -5*HP
- Shock: Min(-1*lostHP, -4) penalty to DX,IQ and skills based on them on *next turn ony
- Major Wounds: 1/2HP, HT roll or stun+knock down. see p420
- Limb: > HP/2
- Damage capped on damage to cripple limp
- Extremity: > HP/3
- 2x necessary damage dismember
- Causes a Major Wound
- Hand: Drops anything, can't attack, Can only use shield. DX roll to not drop things held with 2 hands. One Hand disadvantage p147
- Arm: Same as hand, but can't use shield
- Foot: Fall down. Can't walk without something to lean on. Can kneel. Lame (Crippled Legs) disadvantage p141
- Leg: Same as Foot but can't kneel
- Eye: One Eye disadvantage p147, or Blindness p124
- Roll HT after combat
- Success: temporary, gone when back to full HP
- Failure: lasting, 1d - (TL-4 if treated by physician) months
- Critical failure: permanent
- Make HT roll every 30 minutes to avoid death
- Each stabilization attempt takes an hour.
- -2 if patient is at -3xHP
- -4 if worse
- cummulative -2 per attempt
- Up to GM decide if really unconscious or just fully incapacitated
- 1 HP awakens automatically in 15 minutes
- 1 > HP > -1*HP: HT roll to awaken every hour
- < -1*HP: 1 HT roll after 12 hours. If fail, need medical treat
- Each day of rest and decent food, HT roll to recover 1HP
- 1 min bandaging restores 1HP
- Treat shock by keeping victim warm, comfortable, calm:
