Operating System Support

• Add support for RHEL 8.0

  • For complete list of supported operating systems see xCAT2 Release Information and Compute node support matrix

• Drop Management Node support for RHEL 6 and SLES 11. Support for provisioning RHEL 6 and SLES 11 compute nodes remains.

Highlighted Changes

• No KITs support on RHEL 8.0 or above.

• conserver is no longer shipped in xcat-dep. It is replaced by goconserver.
