1. Open in Firefox a Youtube video (or any site with a sound).
2. Set the volume to 100%. Hear the sound.
3. Adjust volume to 40% and after a few seconds it will automatically adjust the volume to about same level it was at 80%.

It happens back way as well: setting 100% rises volume up and than it lowers it...
