nPTAS: A Novel Platform for Text Annotation and Service

Abstract: Corpus construction is the cornerstone of natural language processing, especially since the development of deep learning technology, rapid construction of large-scale corpus and continuous iterative optimization model is an important means of text processing. This paper designs and implements a novel platform for text annotation and service (nPTAS), which supports online text collaborative annotation, provides extensible text processing services, integrates various deep learning algorithms, online model training and generation, and final service publishing functions. Based on this platform, this paper implements the rapid extraction experiment of clinical entities in Chinese electronic medical records. The experimental results show that the platform effectively improves the efficiency and quality of corpus annotation management, and realizes the rapid release and iteration of the model, It reduces the threshold for researchers to use, and provides sustainable and scalable text intelligent services.
