The JavaScript world currently suffers from a problem of significant churn. As such, the "best" components to use in our stack today are largely opinionated and will be, either way, outmoded sooner than established platforms. Such is life.

To this end, an effort was put in to identify components which not only satisfy our requirements, but appear to have a degree of longevity; whether that's backed by momentum, research, gut-feeling, or whatever. Thus we have assembled our "All Star Stack" [at least for the next couple of weeks] which we're betting the farm on:

• Express will be used as the ultimate HTTP framework.
