Once your on the Steam deck, hit the steam button the left side of the device, Select the power option and switch to desktop mode.

Once your in the desktop, open your browser of choice and type in the URL https://decky.xyz

On the front page, hit the download button

You'll get a file from your web-browser, make sure NOT to run the file through the web-browser.

The file will be in your Downloads folder. It'll look like this:

Click the file and input the sudo password.

Note: if you haven't yet. Open the Konsole and type in "sudo passwd" Then set your preferred password for sudo commands

You'll get a popup, check "release"

Once the Konsole is finished installing, close the program.

Next grab the latest version of Muon.

To download the official release builds go to the releases tab on the github page. Open up assets and select the CUBE symbol with a .zip link. You'll download a .zip file, keep it in your downloads.

Once that is all done, switch back to GameMode.

Once your back into GameMode Press the "..." button to bring up the side bar.

You'll now see an extra button on the sidebar

Here you'll see your plugin menu, but first we'll have to enable decky-loader to import .zip file plugins. To do this, go to the settings tab:

Once here, enable developer mode in the general tab

There will be more tabs on the left side of the screen, enter the developer tab and hit browse

Then import the Muon .zip file you've downloaded in the downloads folder.

Hit the "Install" button when prompted.

Muon will now appear on your plugin menu bar.

You're all done with the set up process!
