Rotation 5: Bluetooth Robot - wrafab/taor GitHub Wiki

This week we started with the Adabox 002 kit and constructed our own Bluetooth LE robots. The basic robot construction (controlled by my phone via the adafruit app) can be viewed here.

I also designed a shield for the robot that looks like an upside-down bowl, and I added several holes on the side so that we could insert rods that can interfere with other robots in the ring.

Unfortunately, I did not win the tournament, but I did win third place in both runs. The major weakness of my robot is that the rods keep falling out because the connection to the hood is not very sturdy. Also, I only used strings to connect the motor system to the hood, and ideally the connection should be more solid.
