When Driving Lanes are reconfigured, by definition, at least one Driving Lane is initiated or terminated. A Merge, for example, involves the termination of one Driving Lane which diverts its traffic into an adjacent Driving Lane. In this case, the merging lane will have a Driving Lane Termination role.
